My wife and I stayed at the hostel down the road from Mulligan's and this was our hangout for a few days. The atmosphere is great, super low key. Great place to have a beer, watch a game or play pool. We'll for sure be back when we're in Portland!

My roommate and I came here to have a couple cocktails then played some pool. Met a cool guy and gal, played 3 games and the bartender care over after 2nd game and told us we needed to be "quiet" And she was getting a headache" due to patrons leaving due to "too much noise"? We were not loud. Tried to become even quieter. She then came over after 3rd game saying she would have to eject us if we didn't quiet down. Actually no patron left, she said they were "complaining" of our loudness. But actually no one left because of us. We were just having fun, Saturday night, not obnoxious...decided to leave because she made us feel uncomfortable.
Having a great time at backstage bar mcmenamins afterwards. Much better vibe. Having drinks and playing shuffleboard, no weird pressure like the Mulligans. -

racist establishment friend went to use restroom and the bartender bangs on the door saying "wrap it up" my friend comes out she looks at her and says "sorry i didn't view you as a customer" my friends mexican

Literally seen a rat run from the bar to the cooking area. The bar tenders are awesome, but got upset when I brought up the rat. I love the bar. but if there's rat running around yall shouldn't be serving food....

Pretentious vibes for a hole in the wall. I wandered in here to try to get a bite to eat (no drinks). The bartender refused to serve me. NEVER going here again. A word of advice: if your bar is dead on a Saturday evening, don't turn away customers even if they're just ordering food.
